Demonstration report

Commit-bound release audit

A concrete example of the evidence, boundaries, and release decision supplied with a ConstaLabs static release audit.

This is a sample, not a customer engagement.
The public repository below was used only to test the fulfillment pipeline. No vulnerability is claimed, no repository code was executed, and no payment was associated with this review.

Executive summary

The pinned snapshot passed integrity verification and contained one small text file. Automated static screening produced no heuristic matches. Given the intentionally minimal repository, this result demonstrates the report workflow rather than a comprehensive security assessment.

Release recommendation
PROCEED WITH CONDITIONS

Validate the actual application, dependencies, deployment configuration, and runtime behavior separately before any production release.

Method and evidence

  1. Fetch only the exact advertised commit over public HTTPS.
  2. Verify that the resolved SHA exactly matches the requested SHA.
  3. Archive tracked files without checkout or code execution.
  4. Reject unsafe archive paths and unsupported member types.
  5. Hash every extracted file and verify the manifest before review.
  6. Run offline static screening, then require human validation before delivery.

Limitations and residual risk

A bounded static review cannot prove the absence of vulnerabilities or operational defects. Runtime-only behavior, generated artifacts, external services, deployment configuration, dependencies, secrets management, and environment-specific behavior remain unverified unless explicitly included in an agreed scope.

What a paid report adds

A customer report uses the same commit-bound evidence chain but adds manually validated findings with severity, exact file and line, impact, remediation, fix verification, release conditions, and a decision tied to the customer’s agreed scope.
